[SeasonOfDocs] How should we focus OSGeo training within SeasonOfDocs?

Hi Jared,

that's what is scaring me: relying to more and more software and making
things more complicated.

that's a good question. IMHO there could be different ways to contribute:

* Wikipedia style: finding a typo or updating a small sentences. You log
in and there you go. Some reviewer will take care of the quality but you
as contributor don't have to think at the framework
* more complex contributions (adding a whole section...): you know what
you what to add, but you couldn't be a "developer" and you are afraid of
git/github....
* same as above but you are not scared.

This lead to 2 different routes:

* first case you are a spot contributor willing to enhance the
documentation (e.g. native English speaker with poor (Q)GIS knowledge)
* second case: in some way you have to be in touch with the community
(thing that I always suggest of course), by asking questions, being
collaborative and discover that we are normal people and not robots to
be afraid of :)

bot routes are difficult: what we are missing now is the spot
contributor while harvesting new "core" contributors is hard. But we are
doing our best during HackFests and other events

well I think goals could be very different here. You can think to a
complete newbie of QGIS or to a normal user that is improving his/her
skills with some specific examples (e.g. geological data). So I'd say
to look at 360°

I get it but refactoring a complex framework like the QGIS doc requires
a bit of coordination :)

Thanks for all the suggestions

Matteo
