Jody,

we will be assigned a number of students slots soon.  It will be influenced
(I think) by the number of projects for which mentors have expressed an
interest.  That is why I pressed to have this in place Monday (of this
week).  If Jesse is willing to mentor these, then lets get this done quickly.
It would also be helpful for the purpose of our ranking planning.

If Jesse isn't a mentor yet, get him to apply.  I have approved everyone
as an OSGeo mentor who has applied.
