More about myself:
I am co-project leader of OpenJUMP/Jump Pilot since 2005. I am 
researcher in GIS with focus on map generalization - i.e. have some 
basic knowledge in several GIS (related) fields: few in databases, a bit 
in web services, basics in computational geometry, some knowledge in 
pattern recognition and classification, some knowledge as well on 
optimization, lots of knowledge in spatial analysis, and even more in 
cartography (and visualization). Currently I am at the University of 
Calgary. I am programming since 5 years in Java - and outdated 
experience with other programming languages (C#, Pascal, C).
