Hi Peter,

I fully understand your intent and am willing to help getting the best
mentors for our students.

However, Google requires discretion in the mentoring allocation
process - so let me invite you and all GraphHopper devs interested in
mentoring to apply to be OSGeo mentors following these steps:
http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code_2014_Administrative#How_to_register_as_a_mentor

By registering as mentor on Melange, you will be allowed to see all
OSGeo proposals and potentially mentor one of them.

I will count GraphHopper mentors and students as OSM students, so keep
in touch with Ian Dees for coordination on student ranking and
selections.

Thanks!
Anne
