[SoC] Pencils down: 11 August - Last coding day: 18 August

Hello all!

this is a friendly reminder that "pencil down" dates are approaching.

I am following the progress of all of you by your weekly reports on
this list and am very impressed by the quality of your results. I
encourage you to have extra meetings with your mentors, to double
check the goals of your projects, and finalise any detail.

The week from 11 to 18 August is labeled as "documentation and
testing". Please interpret it as "completing documentation and testing,
to obtain a piece of code that another developer can continue working
on, and any user can test by following detailed instructions". 
It is expected that some of you can not continue working on the project
after GSoC, so make sure the project is clearly documented. If you plan
to contine working, documentation will be useful anyway, both for
yourselves and for users.

In case of doubt over project goals and/or success of your project, do
contact me privately ASAP.
