Regarding OSGeoLive, I would be very happy to help including new
projects, and new set of tools in the main distribution.
I see much value in OSM community using OSGeoLive as a mapping tool, or
as an outreach/training tool.
Of course this could happen as a GSoC project and I could mentor some
student.
