apart of reading the recommendations for students linked by Margherita, you
should define a bit better what you would like to do.
As you can read in the recommendations, you need to be proactive and you
should really get a better understanding of what the projects you listed
are. Then try to approach their mailinglist and introduce yourself also
trying to explain what you would like to work on in the SOC.

How does that sound?
