[SoC] GSoC 2022 : Students application deadline is approaching

Dear all,


I'd like to remind potential GSoC contributors (Student +
Professional) that the application period will end on *April 19, 2022, at
18: 00 UTC* see timeline [1].


The earlier you submit your proposal, the more chances you have to refine
it according to mentors/community feedback, hence the more chances to be
successful. See also [2].


Usually, last-minute submissions result in failure, *it is time to submit
your proposals already*.

We privilege quality over quantity, so please, spend time to write a good
proposal, *submit the final pdf* and flesh it out with the comments,
clarifications, and requests from mentors before the deadline.
