Sorry i saw your response to late, so forget my Email some minutes ago. 

So it is possible to search all possible projections of a country like in https://epsg.io? Maybe this is the reason why people use epsg.io ?


Maybe you know this Test-Api:

I used the testservice of Aaron Racicot to develop a tool called "Shapefile ProjectionFinder".

At FOSS4G 2016 in Bonn (Germany) i will make a poster presentation about this tool.

Maybe you have time to look on my website and tell me what you thing about this tool and the idea to install the testservice of Aaron Racicot on a stable server.

that the EPSG:28992 defs from
http://spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/28992/
seems to be wrong.

Here is its proposal :

May be https://epsg.io kills spatialreference ?

It offers nearby the same options, although without esri and community defs.
