Dear all,



OSGeo Sri lanka community and PGIS, University of Peradeniya are happy to
invite you to a  OpenStreetMap (OSM)  Mapping event scheduled on
Sunday 19th November
at the PGIS , University of Peradeniya to celebrate the OSM Geo Awareness
week -2017.



OSM is a free, editable map of the whole world that is being built by
volunteers largely from scratch and released with an open-content license.
OSM comes with a powerful editing tools and you will create OSM data to map
our surrounding in the event.  We will map some landslide / flood prone
areas which are continuously affected by frequent bad weather conditions so
that everybody will be benefitted.



No prior experience is expected and all are welcome! This will be an
interactive workshop.
