[OSGeo-Standards] Registration in the Geographic Information

Folks,
I have added OSGeo as a non-profit organization to the Geographic
Information Knowledge Network [1]. They are closely linked to the list
of implementing and compliant products page of the OGC [2]. When
checking the list for OSGeo projects it became apparent that this list
is not well maintained, entries are spread accross several submitting
companies, or do not appear at all.
This could be a great central resource to refer to if it was centrally
submitted and maintained by OSGeo. What do you think? Anybody interested
in picking this up?
Regardless of this, all companies who are interested to maintain "their"
software under their own name can and should obviously do that all the
same.
