[OSGeo-Standards] GeoServices REST specification (ESRI)

Hi,
I have worked with ESRI REST spec and implemented some parts of it in
GeoREST www.georest.org.
It did felt like bounded to much to ESRI technologies.
My main interest was in connecting ESRI dektops to non-Esri server
side and using ESRI API client libraries ( JS, Silverlight Flex ).
