I would be more likely to make an April meeting if it was closer to the end of the month.

For a May meeting, it is a little early to get a good forecast to ensure that we can have our annual Sea Salt in a thunderstorm experience...

So, I just got word that Steve L. will most likely not be available for a meeting this month. I still think we should meet (and we can be more flexible with the date). Jim and Dan can give us a report on NY code sprint. We should also plan for our May social.

So, again, can we agree on an April meeting date?

Can we also agree on a May social event date? Sea Salt as venue? We can cover the topics we missed in April.

Alright! So, let's set a date and a venue? Steve said before the 20th... I'll let you guys figure this one out and I'll see if I can make it. Tuesday? Wednesday? Any other day?

I'm game to meet as long as it's before the 20th. Besides the GIS/LIS topics, we can brief folks on the NYC sprint and MapServer 6.0 release plans (and an excellent pastrami sandwich I found).

I'm game. It would be nice to have people bring some ideas for GIS/LIS sessions. Or at least some thoughts on things they have (dis)liked in the past.

No one wants to meet in April?

Folks,

We took a break last month but am wondering if people are ready to meet again this month... Yes, it's April. It's April Fool's Day. No, this is not a prank.

Kari Geurts asked a few questions regarding our participation at the GIS/LIS conference this year. We talked about it in February and I think it's time to make some solid plans. The questions are:
1. Who amongst us are giving workshops?
2. Who are planning on giving presentations, and do we have enough to fill an entire tract?
3. What about product demos? We talked about having it. Who and what should we demo?
4. Birds of a feather... Paul? Paul Wickman? Paul Ramsey? Paul Ramsey will be there. I'm sure Paul W will be too!

So, can we set a date and venue in the next two weeks? Besides those questions, would Steve, Dan, and Jim be ready to give us a report about the NY code sprint?

PS: My Tuesdays and Thursdays are shot in the next two months as I'm coaching a high school Ultimate team.
