Thanks Brian.  It would be great to get some participation from the  local open source folks at NACIS.  The call for presentations and for demos/talks for the Practical Cartography Day are open now (until May 31).  Here are the details:  http://nacis.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/2015_CFP_web.pdf

They will also have a Map Gallery / Web App Gallery, but submissions aren’t due until the beginning of September.
