[Tilecache] Advice needed for displaying multiple images

Hi all,
i'm a beginner of TileCache, and currently i'm trying to explore that
software and its features.
What i wanna try to do now, is displaying something like a poster made up of
multiple images.

Let's say i have a huge picture made up of 100 images: what's the correct
(and optimized) way to do manage this issue?
Do i have to create a unique image and add it as an ImageLayer? Do i have to
use multiple ImageLayers correctly placed?
