[Ubuntu] GDAL Packaging

Frank,

I am not an expert in the matter, but when presented with a similar dialog
when backporting packages I end up following the suggestion to use
dpkg-source -commit.

What it does is generate a patchin debian/patches and allows you to
continue building the package.
