Andreas,

UbuntuGIS is working with DebianGIS and we share all work with them 
directly using the official git debian repository. However, we don't 
decide when a new release is uploaded to unstable. Francesco is the 
administrator of DebianGIS. The DebianGIS process is also longer... so 
the softwares are not immediately pushed in unstable.
