[OSGeo-UK] Free-to-use basic outline and rivers maps of Essex

Hi!

 

Whilst I am keen to get into OSGEO and its technologies, I am finding it a
bit difficult to locate basic maps for the UK, in the manner of basic
outline maps that seem to be available to the US, Canada and Australia. Does
anyone have a basic outline of Essex County UK with rivers in ESRI file
format for free use in a Windows GUI such as Quantum GIS to get the app
started, please?
