Hello all
Just a reminder that we are still gathering case studies - if you are able to write one, please send to Jo at the email address below by the March 31st - they will then be published to the OSGeo site.
Many thanks
Antony

Subject: [OSGeo-UK] Call for OS GIS Case Studies
Dear all,
As part of its aim of promoting the use of open source GIS software in the UK, OSGeo UK would like to invite you to submit suitable case studies of OS software in use, for publication on the OSGeo UK website. Studies could cover production systems, prototypes or research projects - the goal is simply to show how OS GIS applications are being used, and to provide models and inspiration for others who are using, or thinking of using, OS for GIS.
As well as helping to disseminate knowledge and best practice, there are also potential benefits for service providers in helping to market their work, and we'll make selected case studies available in printed form at conferences and other events.
In order to have consistent format and branding for case studies, templates and guidance notes have been developed, and these are available on the OSGeo UK website at http://www.osgeo.org/uk/case_studies. Completed case studies should be sent as PDFs to the OSGeo UK representative, Jo Cook, at j.cook at oxfordarch.co.uk<mailto:j.cook at oxfordarch.co.uk>.
Please pass this on to anyone else who might be interested in submitting a case study - the request is not limited to list members.
Many thanks,
Antony
