I can’t work out what you will need sponsorship for if you are charging delegates and OS are providing the venue for free? Where will the surplus funds go BCS or QGIS project or ...?
I won’t express a view on sponsorship but will wait for others on the list to comment.
I am sure that we can help to publicise the event.
I suggest you post event details as soon as you have them available on this list and the general Talk list. That will reach a lot of people.
If you also tweet the details and link to the signup we can retweet that and hopefully it will get picked up by some of our followers
The QGIS user group has a Google+ group and might be an idea to get the info to them as well (contact Simon Miles)
You might want to make contact with JournoCoders http://www.journocoders.com/#london and @journocoders I think they might be interested in the event
I will be away on that date so I will unfortunately miss the event but best of luck, it sounds like fun
