[OSGeo-UK] GeoTiff Unknown format or stripped can't be read using libtiff.net

I am trying to cover all possible Geotiff formats to import into our software
Required data are XYZ coordinates and RGB colours if there is any
 i can cover lots of file formats now and they can be imparted successfully into pointcloud but the only thing left ( the most important data source for us ) is that most of the Geotiff files downloaded from earthdata.nasa.gov can't be read either because of they are stripped ( not tiled ) or because fields with Unkown tags

any advice how to handle or extract thee required data from these files?
