Happy New Year!

I had a message (in my role as OSGeo:UK Chair) from Simon Nigh 
(https://www.linkedin.com/in/simon-nigh/), who has recently joined the 
AGI Council and one of his roles is liaison with FOSS4G:

"I have recently joined the council for the AGI and one of my roles is 
liaison with FOSS4G to see how we can help support this important 
geospatial community. It would be great to arrange a call to look at 
what could do together,maybe AGI hosted FOSS4G working group or 
community of interest? Links in to our Early Years Career network, for 
insight sessions?
Working to feed into our education and skills WG? Just a few ideas we 
could consider?"

He has some interesting ideas and I am going to arrange a call. If you 
are interested in joining, or leading on this, please let me know.
