Hi,
I work for an organisation called Fathom <http://fathom.global>- we are a
leading provider of flood risk intelligence, and in doing this generate and
deal with a huge amount of (mostly geospatial) data. We're looking for
someone to join us to help us manage it. This isn't your usual data manager
or GIS role - we have a huge catalogue of existing data, and generate more
every year, we are looking for someone to help us transform our
architecture to ensure data control, quality and efficiency, especially as
our dataspace and the ways we use our data grows. The role will be working
directly with our expert science, software and infrastructure teams, across
our internal software, hardware and cloud tech stacks, with the ability to
design and implement exciting real change. We're based in Bristol, with a
great working environment, hybrid working is standard - our entire tech
stack is primarily based around open-source where possible, and our teams
are a mix of passionate specialists, many with geospatial leanings!
