[OSGeo-UK] Notification of OSGeo:UK AGM

Hi Folks,

We are having OSGeo:UK's Annual General Meeting (AGM) at FOSS4G:UK 2026 
in Leeds, on 12th October, 3:45pm to 4:15pm

Everyone is invited to attend. Unfortunately we do not have the 
capability to run this as a hybrid meeting. If you are unable to attend 
in person, we invite you to submit any comments before the meeting to 
osgeouk at gmail.com, and I am also happy to meet with you beforehand.

We have an agenda on the website and also listed below.

We envisage membership of OSGeo:UK as being a way of showing your 
involvement with and support for open source geospatial software in the 
UK. Membership is free, and being a member enables you to vote for the 
committee.

A key item on the agenda is a proposed change to the constitution in 
relation to membership. Following on from discussions about how we 
define membership last year, and the need to move on from using the 
mailing list to having a dedicated membership list, these changes are 
proposed to the constitution:

Membership (a) - (e): New text clarifying membership is open to 
individuals, and members have a voting right. The committee can approve 
or reject membership, in accordance with the aims of OSGeo:UK. The 
committee shall maintain a list of members, and inactive members will be 
removed. To vote at an AGM, individuals must be a member 28 days before 
the date of the AGM.

There are a number of other stylistic changes, but no other substantive 
changes.

We will also be electing a new secretary and committee members - more
