[OSGeo-UK] Nominate yourself for the OSGeo:UK Committee!

Hi Folks,

We have now opened nominations for Secretary and 2 committee members for 
the OSGeo:UK committee. We want you to be involved in promoting Open 
Source Geospatial software in the UK and direct what OSGeo:UK should be 
doing over the next three years.

The Secretary monitors the OSGeo:UK email account, and takes notes for 
the AGM and committee meetings.
Committee members will help the wider committee with their work in any 
way they wish to. We do need a committee member to take on the role of 
looking after the newsletter, currently done by Alastair Graham.
Full support and training will be given!

We specifically encourage nominations from groups under represented in 
geospatial.

These roles have a term of 3 years, and you can stand for as many terms 
as you like.

To nominate yourself, please email osgeouk at gmail.com saying which 
position (Secretary or committee member or both) you would like to 
nominate yourself for by Monday 12th October (before the AGM at 3:45pm). 
Nominations can also be done in person at the AGM, and if necessary a 
vote will be conducted at the AGM.
