[Webcom] News box frozen in other languages

Toni will probably need an account to debug OSGeo translations and news- If it is required that he become WebCom member I herewith nominate Toni Pignataro as new member and +1 it directly. If he gets accounts he should have both translator and administrator roles.

+1 from me on this too if Toni wants to be a member.  If not, +1 on just assigning appropriate rights.  I don't think that we should require committee membership for higher level site access, just that the person is "known to the community" and willing to help.  We need to start from a position of trust, and ensure that we have good backups.
 
I should note that this attitude is really at odds with the role I have at "work", and I sometimes have a hard time with it :)  
 
For instance, I still really want to ensure that the web site maintains a consistent message across languages...
