There may be a potential benefit in having all
OSGeo domains registered by OSGeo, in that if
there was ever a dispute with someone who was
acting against OSGeo's interests, and who had
registered some flavor of 'an OSGeo domain name',
being able to show that OSGeo registers and
controls 'OSGeo-related domain names' might
help in the process of OSGeo gaining control
of the offending domain.
