Cameron,
I'm not sure what you mean. Are you suggesting that the "News" area on the
web site isn't current? It shows the last six items or so, and that
normally represents 4-8 weeks of news items. That seems reasonably
current to me!
I'm not that keen on having the Planet blog entries appear directly on the
main page. We have limited control over them, and I'm not sure they will
compact all that well into a spot like we have the news or spotlights in.
However, I would like to see a "Blogs" item under OSGeo Community pointing
off to planet.osgeo.org. Does that satisfy your wish? I think
planet.osgeo.org *is* our effort at collecting OSGeo related bloggers
though currently it reports all items, not just OSGeo specific ones. So
we also get to track Sean Gilles and Paul Ramseys garden progress.
I've added the blog/planet issue to the agenda.
