Events have overtaken my previous email, and at Jason's suggestion I
created the mailing list on the www.osgeo.org project so it will be
"news_item at osgeo.org". I'll delete the one on the webcommittee project.
I think someone granted me greater permissions on the webcommittee
project between my email and your checking.

I think I will be very conservative with domain admin access, but I
appreciate the ability to deal with stuff when needed.
