Hi Venka,

You can create a group account (or use a personal account) on Launchpad to
provide a repository.
There you build packages and these packages can be then easily copied to
UbuntuGIS repository for example.
I think that's better and easier than asking someone to get access to
UbuntuGIS.

I have tried some time ago to make packages for ZOO, but I failed because
of hard to solve dependencies (and I'm not so advanced in packaging). Maybe
that's easier nowadays, but I always forget how to build packages after a
while ;-)
If nobody has done yet, I will try again when building packages for
pgRouting (probably when Ubuntu 12.10 is available).
