 When using templates like slate, panels are being used on the left side.
 When the window is resized, everything within fusion is resized except the
 panels. That way if someone were to resize the window, he might "lose" the
 Legend Panel. To solve this one has to follow what is the active panel
 being viewed and then maximize it (resize everything and keep that one
 open) when a window is resized.
