[Geomoose-users] Culling Trac

Ok, the first bug I see in trunk is the toolbar doesn’t not show up in IE9. Works fine in FF6. I’m using the geomoose_dev.html file.

I see Brent previously emailed these two things as well.

     - I had to remove the trailing comma on line 579 of main.js to get Geomoose_dev to load (deja-vu).

     - IE (8 or 9) doesn't display the toolbar, but both Chrome and Firefox do.

Trunk should probably be a discussion on the list, however, generally, bugs in trunk are not really considered bugs until an RC1 or DR1 has been stamped.

Since we are in between migrating Trac. Where should we report bugs for the current code that is in trunk? Or should I just hold them until OSGeo get’s trac setup for us? I’m beginning to test things.

Once we have a 2.6 up and running I would be willing to go through them and see if they are still valid or if they can be closed.

Duck,

Six of the tickets I've submitted are still open, but I don't know if they will be fixed as a side-effect of the re-work for 2.6. If most (all?) of the code for 2.6 is now in trunk, I could try to reproduce them....

PSC,

Can we get some lists built for what Trac tickets are important and/or still apply?

I think that we should probably have two categories:

A) 2.4 bug(s) that should be fixed. This implies that a 2.4.1 release is important and should be done.
B) Bugs/Enhancements that are important for 2.6.

It may be worthwhile to categorize the other tickets or justify why they are being dropped. I believe many will simply be subsumed by 2.6 functionality but that is not going to be universally true.

Users,

Input is also worthwhile here.
