[GeoNode-devel] 2.8.0 - ACCOUNT_APPROVAL_REQUIRED setting appears not to have effect

Hi Alessio,

Yes, the email backend is already configured, and it works on my site for
both pinax notifications and the standard account emails.

I was expecting to see an email template for the email from geonode to the
admin, stored in this folder:
https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/tree/2.8.0/geonode/templates/account/email

But there is no template? and the  moderator_contacted
<https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/blob/d41328bfddbe3d5820338f455c5767b2067d759d/geonode/views.py#L151>
function
seems to just get the user model to display the email address in the
template rather than actually sending anything.

I don't think this is meant to be covered by pinax, but I had a look there
and couldn't find anything either.

Is it possible this feature has not yet been implemented?
