[winGRASS] Installing wingrass and problems with tcltkgrass

Hi Alberto.

This problem seems to be caused by the ongoing trouble with monitors not
being selected immediately after starting them, that is, at the command line
you would have to go

  d.mon start=x0
  d.mon select=x0

rather than:

  d.mon x0

Try launching the monitor from the tcltkgrass Display Manager dialog
launched from menu item:

  Display/Monitors/Manage Display Monitors.

Let us know how that goes for you whether it fixes the problem for you or
not.

Cheers

Mike Thomas.

|
| Hello to all:
| I have installed wingrass 5.0.2 on WinXP through the binary files
| and I have
| problems with the monitors when I use tcltkgrass (When I open a
| monitor from
| menu of tlctkgrass, this monitor immediately closes after being opened).
| Could It be better to compile all wingrass instead of installing
| it through
| the binary files to avoid this problem?
| Thanks!
