Hello everyone.

I am having a problem with an ODBC connection with a sybase database.

I am running mapguide 2010 on a windows 2003 server. I have set up the
database connections using the ODBC connection manager.

I have 2 DB2 databases and 2 sybase databases connected.

The 2 DB2 are working fine.
The problem is with the sybase connections.

When I test the connection in MapGuide Studio, I am able to connect
succesfully. I am able to view the tables, and set geometry for my Latitude
and Longitude values.

When I change to the preview, I can see the list of tables and view the
table properties.
My problem occcurs when I click the view Data button. I get the following
error:

An exception occurred in FDO component. RDBMS: [DataDirect][ODBC Sybase Wire
Protocol driver][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near 'MailingList'.

This occurs on every table in the database. The 'MailingList' in the above
error represents the last column in the table, and changes to the last
column in whatever table I am trying to view.

There are no simularities in the last columns so it is not a data issue. I
was able to connect and view the data in the same databases when using
mapguide enterprise 2009, on a linux server.

This problem also means I can not view the data on my maps.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nick
