[Mapserver-inspire] MapServer and INSPIRE

Hi,
I'm member of the team which is responsible for building up the geodata infrastructure of our authority. The Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) belongs to the federal government of Germany (ministry of commerce) and is therefore bound to serve the INSPIRE demands. We offer currently various web services, especially WMS by means of the UMN mapserver but these must be INSPIRE compliant in the future, i.e. once the geological and hydrogeological data specifications are adopted.
