yes .. this is the kml outputformat that I am using:

OUTPUTFORMAT
      NAME "kml"
      DRIVER KML
      MIMETYPE "application/vnd.google-earth.kml+xml"
      IMAGEMODE RGBA
      EXTENSION "kml"
      FORMATOPTION 'ATTACHMENT=RIO_DE_JANEIRO.kml'
    END
