[OpenLayers-Dev] new feature: map stretching

Hi,

I've created a patch, which adds new feature to OpenLayers, it makes it
possible, require maps with different Y resolution, according to
Latitude of required location.

I think, this feature is missing in OpenLayers, because of many servers
are offering their data in WGS84 projection and no other. With higher
latitude the map always becomes distorted and users are complaining,
that it is displayed in this way.

Please, see the example [1] for better illustration of this feature.

Patch was attached to Ticket no. 889 [2]
