[Oskari-user] Peltodata and request for proposal

Hi Petri!

I think it could be reasonable to think if we could develop the user based
adding of datasets into Oskari further. You can test the current
functionality e.g. in Paikkatietoikkuna
<https://kartta.paikkatietoikkuna.fi/>by registering to the service and
adding your own datasets. Maybe some development on the dataformats & how
to setup your own database could be in order. Now the tool is quite
limited.

So with these tools in the bottom of the left hand menu, you can add your
own POIs and also datasets to the layerlist and can be edited through My
data -navigation. In the layerlist they go under "Own datasets".

Also NLS-FI has had an idea of joining two tools together and I think it
was scheduled for this year.  Check the issues also from here:

For the other development idea, I think it would be good to check what HSY
and Tampere have been thinking with the download basket issue. HSY open
data map service has a download service available (community plugin) and I
think Tampere is now thinking about some new approach on the download
issue. Maybe Anna Mustajoki from Tampere City knows or Marko Kauppi from
Ubigu.
