They should, but so far no "developer" could reproduce them.
I'm trying working with Horst on finding out more.
Beside that, one week of no-bug-reports and 1.0.0 is out
(I hope this won't keep users from testing ;)

Postgres has a BOX type, so you should probably make postgis one
a BOX2D, to avoid name clashes.
