That would assume people actually go to their OS site or even know what it is
and are not working off of cached repositories or the OS even carries Geos and Proj
and also that they have fairly perfect knowledge about the changes going on in GEOS and Proj.
Right now I think its fantasy thinking  :)

If we sent them straight to OSGEO download site - look at this would you with beginner
goggles on have a clue which one to pick
