Hi

On windows-miktex, there is a tool (whose name i've lost) which can help you
to install the package (you choose it in a list) and then it refresh the
tex-structure (without typing mktexlsr or others).

(I'm on mac this saturday, I'll be on windows and I'll can say you the tools
name)
