[Qgis-developer] Improper vertical spacing in legend (Ticket #3605), need to revert changeset 15242 (by mhugent) to fix issue

Greetings,

Few weeks ago, QGIS trunk started rendering composer's legend with
odd/unneeded vertical spaces (see http://trac.osgeo.org/qgis/ticket/3605 for
a screenshot of issue).

I believe the problem is caused by changset 15242, applied by mhugent 4
weeks ago. The changset pulled the "currentYCoord += mLayerSpace" code out
of the "if ( !layerItem->text().isEmpty() )". This goes against QGIS' logic
allowing for empty layer title string to skip the layer title printing in
legend.

It'd be good to revert this change prior to the release of QGIS 1.7.

Regards to the QGIS team, you're doing a great job.
