[Qgis-user] Installing QGIS on CentOS?

Torsten, all:

Thanks for the suggestions. Between me, and someone smarter than I am at 
resolving dependencies, we're going now. I've always appreciated the 
capabilities of QGIS, and I'll admit to frustration at not being able to 
run it easily on an enterprise distribution. I understand the nature of 
developing to newer, better releases and code, but I also have to live 
with "really stable" in my environment.

That said, thank you all for your help and for a great piece of software.
