[Qgis-user] Raster with extra points

One way I can think of is:
Convert your points to raster using GDAL plugin (Raster menu). I reckon
it should be the same cell size as your main raster.
Merge the 2 rasters (from Raster menu), and it should give you a new
raster with your points embedded.
