[Qgis-user] ODBC connection and SSL configuration

Dear all,
I have to connect QGis to a database with a ODBC connection.
I try with "Add PostGis vector" and with the connection test I obtained
"connection has been successfully" but when I try to connect at the
database, QGis spend many time to load the tables and if I try to interrupt
the upload it crashed. If I wait the completly upload and then I use
PostGis manager to make query, the plugin tells me that I can't connect to
database because I havn't a SSL connection. (In ADD PostGis Vector you can
set SSL mode require)
How can I force the SSL connection on Ubuntu?
