[Qgis-user] Atlas: Is there a way to synchronize canvas to atlas preview?

Hi,

For information, we are going to add the possibility to use a list of
pre-defined scales to the atlas, thanks to the City of Uster. Each atlas
feature will be zoomed in to the scale that best fit.

I am not sure it covers Bernd's use case, but may help.
