[Qgis-user] QGIS - Graphic Design Workflow

Hei,

It all depends on what both you and the designer want to do. The most usual
workflow is do as much as you can in QGIS and then pass it to the
designer. Like
Andreas said, keep in mind that a lot can be done directtly in QGIS.

Now, if the designer work is to simply set a background or somekind of
frame around the map, then you can always import it as SVG in print
composer and combine it with the map elements. For this kind of art
integration, the rendering modes of elements can be quite usefull.
