[Qgis-user] matching .prj (ArcGIS) with CRS in QGIS

Dear Andre,

Is it possible, because of the different WKT string specification, my shape
files was misaligned for about 200 meters to 300 meters when I chose Kertau
(RSO)/RSO Malaya (m) (EPSG:3168) as the projection (OTF)?
In view of that issue, can you advise me if I
1) can I still use the Kertau (RSO)/RSO Malaya (m) (EPSG:3168) projection?
Or
2) should I transform the projection to any other projection? Or
3) should I use the User-define CRS? If yes, how can I do that?

I apologize for any trivial questions here. Your responses is very much
appreciated.

Thanks and best wishes,

Kamarul
