[Qgis-user] edge calculator

Thank you for all your answer. 

I’ll try to explain better my problem. 

I have to polygons shapes file one for forest and one for open areas with differents polygons for every shape.

If i need to calculate the length of the border between this 2 shapes just the edge between forest and open areas is there any function in qgis or I need to calculate by hand?
